Set up FTP Server Connection Profile
Most FTP programs have some type of profile settings that allow you to define an FTP server's connection properties. The three main pieces of information needed to connect to the FTP server and they are:
FTP Host Name/Address:
ftp.incoming@outerlimitdesigns.com
UserID / Username:
incoming@outerlimitdesigns.com
Password:
provided by Outer Limit Designs
If using the SmartFTP software, you set up the connection profile in the Session Properties dialog box (shown to the right).
Enter the Profile Name, Host Name, User ID and password and click the OK button.
The software will connect to our FTP server.
